No Indian Food For You!
So this week -- or so I thought -- the new Indian restaurant in Peoria was opening up. Carl was -- unexpectedly -- looking forward to it, like its opening were some major holiday of some sort. Mind you, he's not fond of the sole Indian restaurant in town, but I didn't think he was all so keen on Indian to begin with, so I was surprised.
We gathered reevis5 and slavetoreznor (with their respective partners), drove to the restaurant ... and it's NOT OPEN. There's still a giant COMING SOON sign on the door, with NO date indicating when "SOON" is. It was rather disappointing, resulting in a trip to a Mexican restaurant nearby. You know you're getting quality when the hostess has a baby in one arm and is fumbling with menus in the other! :: laugh ::
Nothing else to report, really, except that I'm fixated in the Shiba Inu Puppy Cam. Man, that one in the yellow collar is a SHIT STARTER!
