We'll send him cheesy movies / the worst we can find

This, again, came up when I was in Benton Harbour this past weekend (yes, I'm getting to that post. Honest!):

What, in your opinion, is the worst movie you've ever seen? Why do you find it so terrible?

Solar Babies - I mean, really, in the future the only way to get around is roller skates? riiiight.

2nd place would be Zardoz. Such classical lines as "Guns are bad. The Penis is good." should have made Sean Connery go running from this script.

OMG! Solar Babies! My dad recorded everything he could manage in the 80's when he first got HBO. I remember being confused watching that gem of a movie. What's with the glowing orb? Why is rollerblading their main form of transportation?

No movie with Sean Connery wearing that little can be called the "worst" of anything. It's firmly good bad, not bad bad.

OK. Good bad in the sense that Sean Connery runs around in a loin cloth for most of the movie. Bad bad in the sense that the lines (I won't even designate it as a script) were just awful and did not go with those shoes.

That movie made me laugh more than many intentional comedies, so I again I call "good bad" on the ridiculous script. But I grant your point about the shoes.
