What about the Wrestler - who threw away his bronze metal ?geargailAugust 16 2008, 01:51:19 UTC
It took guts to tell the judges that they were "hypocrits"...
The Gentleman who represented Sweeden - was lied to, and told that they plan to give the gold medal to someone who didn't perform yet. ( you can check a bit further on the news - it was on Yahoo News earlier this week. )
My heart really went out to him. - more like it went up my throat, and thought to myself, he wasted a good chuck of his time to be the best at what he did... and it's all a joke.
Makes me wonder if other athletes feel so humiliated... that they wonder what was the point of all this ?
Money, Fame, a possible new job working as some reporter at ESPN Sports ?
b.t.w. --- not to make anybody feel bad, but I've listened to my significant other's chiropractor, about why most of these athletes have awful wrist injuries... due to the fact that the more muscle one puts on the shoulders and upper arms... it pinches the flow of blood and nerve tissue feeding the hands and wrists.
So if it wasn't today... walking in 104.F to bring Michael to Urgent Care to get checked by another physician / bone doctor - I wouldn't of paid too much mind of the bandages around that Gentleman's wrist in the picture.
Yes, it's a sexy Photo. --- but something in my head, says... he's going to have to hire a secretary to do his writing for him, or just buy himself a portable tape recorder - cause most people with those kind of injuries that "He" has makes him disabled.
Sadly, I think many - many feel, we've been lied to.
Heard about the Fireworks Display - they used Lord of the Rings Movie, to add some CGI effects and somehow it's incredible to watch... but it's FAKE.
--- Wouldn't it be better if the producer of The Sims 2, did an expansion pack where there's some more action / sports related things... or at least some kind of CAR CHASE - mocking Grand Theft Auto 4.
The Very Least... --- What would it be like to know what the "Gentleman" in the photo - does some kind of "tell all" book and becomes his own role model.
