The Dish Debacle, or: More of "The Voice"
Since dizzi-d had recently made reference to his voice -- one of our initial "bonding points" ...
You all know that our dish was yanked down at the request of our new landlord(s?), but we had just recently gotten it reinstalled. I called up the dish company to see what was owed on my account, and I start talking to a man who was trying to sort out the whole mess.
"... and our rep says she talked to your wife and she said you guys had wanted to cancel the account initially."
"My what??"
"Your wife, on the 30th of December, and stated that the dish might be damaged."
"... I don't have a wife."
The representative on the 30th was talking to ME.
I am now apparently my own wife now. 9_9 God I hate my voice. ^^;;;;
