What, Multilingual Monday's not here again? I know, I know, kick me. It'll be here tomorrow (it WILL be here damn it!). 'tis been a long day.
On Saturday
nytemarewulf and I had two representatives from the Shiba Inu Rescue over to examine the house and interview us. Yes, Carl and I have been contemplating getting a dog, and a shiba inu is a nice size for my small apartment. We've seen a few dogs on the site for adoption that have piqued our interest and discussed them with the people at the rescue who let us know what to expect. It's just a question of: are we ready to be dog owners?
Today consisted of dragging all of our dishes, pots, pans, food, toiletries, and the like out of our cabinets and vanity as the apartment people are presumably putting in new ones. All I have to say is: thank God. With a new counter will come a new sink, which is starting to fall apart. Of course, the note left on our door IS a bit cryptic. Not only are the dates for cabinet/vanity replacement marked on the sheet for APRIL, but it's for the series of apartments next to ours, NOT our building. I'll just have to call them up tomorrow and figure out what's going on, as by the time I got home the apartment office was closed. 9_9
