Wow, apparently the 4GB MP3 player I purchased is not a 4GB at all -- it was only hacked to make it APPEAR to be 4GB. I thought SOMETHING was up when I got to nearly 2GB in data only to suddenly have files that I added later going haywire. Sure enough, there's only 1GB on here. I could deal with no software that assists me at all on the CD that came with. I could deal with the Hebrew being backwards on my player display. But to only have a quarter of the storage space that I'm supposed to have? That just annoys me.
And I know I only paid $30 for it -- "you get what you pay for" -- but really ... :: sigh :: However, it sounds fine, the video functions well and at a fairly nice clip, and it's nowhere near as bulky as my old MP3 player, so it's not ALL bad. Still, what should I do here? Complain to the seller? Return the item? Just suck it up? Kick senior citizens in frustration? Give it to a tech-savvy friend to "soup up"? What?
