テレビのこと
We have a television set now! About a month or so ago, nytemarewulf was playing WoW (as per normal) when the TV picture disappeared, followed by the set popping and smoking. It's taken us this long to get a TV (we got a cheapie TV set over at KMart), and immediately Carl has been switching between eight different shows in an apparent compensation for not having seen any TV for the last month in our house.
The proofer at my work has been mocking me repeatedly for not having a functioning TV over this past month. He was always saying, "... did you see Heroes this week? Oh yeah! That's right! You and Carl are spending your nights at home like you're in the 1890's. What do you do, read books by candlelight or something?"
Carl's response? "Pretty damn close, considering our lack of lighting fixtures. And how gay is that? Not because of the money, but because we can't any that match our decour." ^^;;;;;;
