The Question

So a friend posted this to her FB:

If a man admits to liking a woman but then tells her that he is ashamed of himself for doing so, what would that woman do?

When asked to clarify why the man's ashamed, she added:

It's because of status and background. For someone with perceived higher social status and pedigree to like a person with no future and no perceived prospect.

Now that tells me it's from one of the CJK-dramas (Chinese/Japanese/Korean) that she watches, 'cause I used to watch K-drama too.

But let's stick primarily to the original question and, like a Greek Olympian, discus!
