I Don't Even Know Who You Are Anymore....
Oh Resident Evil?! Come on now! You used to be a contender and now, I really don't even know who you are anymore.
It's like watching a very near and dear friend you've know nearly all your life get new friends and they little by little start to change their manner and appearance. First it starts off with putting on a little too much make-up, then putting on skanky too tight or too short clothes, next thing you know they're getting botox, collagen injections, butt and breast implants. And Resident Evil 6 is at the point where they are so desperate for a triple G bra size they are going to a shady back-alley South American plastic surgeon.
Now grant it, I am watching Chris's game first. I started with Chris's game because, one, when I typed in Resident Evil 6 on Youtube, it gave me Chris's walkthrough first. And second, after I realized the guy did have Leon's game up, I was already through the first hour and ten minutes of Chris's game, so I figured I'd get the most frustrating part watched and over first and then move on to something that I know I would enjoy tolerate later. With this being said though, I knew going in that Chris's game was going to be a hot mess, but "hot mess" doesn't even begin to cover it. This is far worse than anything I could have imagined.
It's like they took one parts Dead Space, one parts Gears of War, and sprinklings of Resident Evil, mash them up in a big old sloppy mess and slathered it on a game console. Chris's game has degenerated so much from the original Resident Evil, that I don't know who or what Chris Redfield is about anymore. Yet, I watch on in pain and disgust.
I don't know, maybe I'm just being overly critical, so you tell me... How did we go from this?:
