i love the red sox. so much. weeee!
haha, wow. so, me and my mom were in the car the other day listening to the radio and i heard something about the old lady in the shoe. immediatly i was like, oh my god mom, i remember that nursey rhyme. it was my favorite. i'm like wow i still remember all the words.. what a nice, sweet rhyme. she then proceeds to inform me that the nursey rhyme that she used to recite to me every night before i went to bed was, in fact, fake. the true rhyme goes something like "and i whipped them all (her children) and sent them all to bed" my mother used to say "and kissed them soundly and sent them all to bed". wow. i am still stunned, and just now i opened up that old book of nursey rhymes to find out that in fact it was never those sweet, sweet words, but a story of an old mean lady starving and whipping her children. and to think i actually used to tell people i loved that nursey rhyme. i'm a sick person. that was enough to ruin my night.
actually, me and danielle losing to a bunch of fat kids in laser storm ruined my night, but we won't talk about that.
wow. i miss so many things. oh, how i hate nostalgia.
this summer needs to get exciting, like, now. arghhh.
i am now in the process of trying to find decent red sox tickets. wish me luck. :)
