wow, boston was sooo much fun! apparently some people don't understand how watching people run can 'get my jollies up' but it really really did =)
we got to natick around 1, and it was just starting to get realllyyy hot. we got out to the race and the peak of the people were crossing.. i think it was like, the 7th mile line, so they were already pretty exhausted. me and niki decided to be good citizens and hold out cups of water for the runners in which none hesitated to take and not drink, but splash all over there already wet-soaken faces, haha. i figured since i was so hot and just standing there, how hot the poor people who were running must feel.. ackkk :/
after we saw her sister and held up signs and took lots of pics, we left and then went to wellesly. once we got there we got out and went to the race yet again.. but this time it was about at the half way line. wellesly is such an adorable town.. they have a downtown just like you see in movies.. it was cute. =) so we saw her sister yet again, proud to know that she accomplished 14 miles of nonstop running, and then i got knocked over by a souvenier carriage, and then we left =) we then arrived in newton, had a little trouble finding a place to eat with ambulances almost hitting us every 10 seconds, so we decided to just eat when we got the race. we walked to the, i think, 20 mile line, and waited for her sister while we ate. we saw her sis again, which made us happy, and then headed off to the finish line.
we finally arrived in boston, which is an accomplishment in itself, considering the time it took to go about every 10 feet :) heh, so me niki and her mom got out and rushed to find a spot.. which was incredibly hard because of the thousands and thousands of people brutally pushing to get a good spot, hah. finally we squeezed in to a good spot, about a quarter mile from the finish line, and there was soo much cheering. it was electric, especially for the runners, because the people pepped them up so much. me and niki would scream countless people's names that we didn't even know and you could tell it made them happy.. it was cute. we saw so many funny things, like 3 guys dressed up as the blue's brothers, 2 guys dressed in gorilla suits, a guy bouncing 3 basketballs while running the whoooleee way.. a guy who attached a pole to his hat with a beer can at the end of it, haha get it? like he was running to catch the beer can? okay, guess you had to be there.
but finally, the BEST part. i hear some lady say, there's tom brady! of course me and niki go crazy, and then even more crazy when we realize that we are a few feet away from him. he was in some special vip section with security guards, but since i was feeling adventurous and knew i would probably never ever see any of those people again in my life, i jumped our fence and headed on over there. of course, i didnt get to actually TALK to him, but i was about an arms length away and took some good pics of his gorgeous face before i got in trouble by a man saying "excuse me, he's trying to have a personal day, c'mon now!!" aka, get the fuck away from him. i was kinda scared and while walking away got in trouble yet again for not having a vip pass, so they pushed me back into the people infested railings. it was okay though, because just a close glimpse of him was good enough for me.
but ANYWAYS, we finally saw niki's sis finish, and she did unbelievably well.. and my lovely niki ran with her to the finish line =) it was cute. so we find her, go to the prudential so she can get her stuff, i buy a red sox shirt, and then we ate and left. it was quite an amazing and crazy day, i may say so myself, heh.
wow, i wrote alot about that, i pity you if you read it all =) i don't know what i'm up for today.. but my mom's going to develop my pics so im excited, teehee. and my girl dani got a job! woohoo! that made my day now i can go visit her, heh. but i shall probably go and start that god forsaken hay project like a good girl.. siiizikke.
bye kidss! <33
