i would rather be hurt than be protected by you when it comes to friendships and love, and just about everything, to be honest with you. i would rather have the truth, and have it hurt, than have be let down easy, and see that you truly are full of shit. don't lie to me, don't fib to me, don't bullshit me, it hurts me when you do that, i don't move on and go "whatever", it hurts me when that happens
