hallows
Long time no writey. Ehh, not like there's been an overwhelming demand. The good news is I have finally uploaded photos onto a photo album diary. I haven't finished uploading them all. I am giving myself till Thanksgiving, which by the way, Josh and I will be spending at Ryan's. There hardly seems a point in going to VA when both my parents are in Dubai/Kabul.
Instead of divulging in what I've been up to in the last month - that entry is still in development - I will give you a heads up on what will be taking place in the last month:
* Ryan and I will be planning the Chavela/Moreno/Strawn birthday extravaganza. There most definitely will be a big, delicious dinner at Ryan and Eva's where I will be lending my culinary prowess. If only you all could come! Last year's celebration was an absolute blast - some of it which you can see when I unveil my photo journal. The tentative date is Saturday, the 19th of this month.
* Bauhaus show in less than two weeks or so?
* I would like to come down to Richmond before Cassandra bids it farewell.
My mom came up for a short visit today, as she was leaving on the Emirates airline here at JFK. She got a big kick out of my Lydia Lunch/Nico/Kate Bush posters and asked me if I was ever going to grow up. I took her out for Turkish kabob and to find a new shawl. We then made out way to the airport. I was sad sending her off, as she will be out there for three months or so, and I don't think I've ever spent that amount of time away from my mother. Hell, I've hardly spent that much time away from Cassandra and Breanne and we haven't lived in the same city for over six years.
Hallowsfest, a month long celebration, has been everything I hoped it would be, 'cept for missing Jason's Woods. Though, it would have been tough beating last year's experience. We did make it to Bloody Manner which was.... yikes, I planned to save all of this for later, so I will. All the details of my VA visits, Halloween, and all things mundane are coming soon.
