Did you know there isn't a word for "happy trail" in French OR Russian? Insanity!
Um, holy shit I really hope all French people are as excellent as Fleur. She's constant laughing and random deep thoughts and craziness, and willing to get more effed up than me, which is really amusing to be around. I was also hanging out with a group of six Swedish dudes...damn, listening to a room full of people speaking Swedish rocks. And, arousing because they were all tall and all mildly to very attractive. I successfully understood them asking me a few things; thank you, German. But best of all, they were listening to great European dance music. Which I neeever get to hear down here outside of my own room and iPod contents, because American students are STUPID when it comes to this.
I went to a bar for the first time, a bar in St. Peter called Willy's. What in the hell...did not expect this crappy little town to actually have a fairly nice, packed bar with good dance music and hot people. I was more expecting a sad, lonely little place with country music and old dudes watching blasting televisions. But it was pretty great. Lights. Fog machine. And some girl who bought me a shot of "liquid cocaine", which is delicious.
Oddly, my last Friday here until next fall involved me partying with friends I've made just recently and want to know better, not old friends who I want to spend more time with before I go. Though I spent some time with the latter earlier on. Not what I'd anticipated, but it was a fun little nighttime adventure, and that's how I wanted to end the semester, so mission accomplished.

Oh, and I've been obsessed with this song all week. The vocals are fantastic.
I love the latinish looking woman. Kamilah, she was a contestant on So You Think You Can Dance. Superb dancer; I'm glad she's getting work.
I also played the avoidance game later on! Which I have little remorse about it, because while he can be spontaneous, he would've been irritating and cockblocked me the whole time. :)
