My wife insists that the California State Board of Pharmacy unfairly targets foreign-educated applicants in its licensure exam, by emphasizing on comprehension of English rather than on the knowledge of the main subject and related studies. She mentions some sly methods employed in their multiple-choice questionnaire, such as misleading construction of sentences (using double negatives, etc.), and other similar tricks.
I’m a bit skeptical about the whole thing: isn’t she subconsciously insuring herself against possible failure to pass? (The results will be known only in couple of months).
