(no subject)
I'm graduating on May 23 ... without any prospect of a job right now. It's kind of scary to realize that I will no longer have school as an excuse for not holding a full time gig. I haven't even begun studying for finals and it is the last week of classes. Freaky. I know I'm ready to move on, but significant change is something that always scares me enough to be unsure of myself.
I've started clerking by doing some assignment work for a criminal defense attorney, so at least I will be continuing to expose myself to the legal practice. Other than that, I'm doing some part time work at a mortgage bank. It's actually rather interesting to review mortgage applications. Whodathunk.
It's going to be the spring of random travel for me as well. In May, I'm heading to Charlotte for my cousin's wedding. In June, I'm heading to Vegas for a party. In July, I'm heading to CA for Jenn's wedding and then going to Albany for my bar exam directly after. I need to start pinching pennies just to take care of the airline expenses. Stupid airline consolidations.
I just watched Juno at school. Good movie. an interesting part towards the end, but its something that was set up pretty decently. The movie's been out for awhile, but I'm sure there are other people who haven't actually seen it yet, so I won't go into detail.
