blair looks a little like rory so this icon I use
I have watched all of season one.
I think with a few hiccups and Chuck's very existence, I think the show is very good in this season. HATERS GONNA HATE. Anyway how much do I love that Blair and Serena basically pass that batchel test every episode? They're like the brotp that you see on any other network tv drama except the CW (complain all you want, but what other network has almost exclusively female leads, one being of color?, at least two having a female-female relationship (Nikita, Gossip Girl) being the life blood of the text?).
Blair is my girl and I love her forever. I also really like Eric. He's sweet and probably the only one I'd call that in the entire show.
I kinda like Dan/Serena so far. I think the thing from me shipping it pretty seriously is the face that Dan doesn't really open up to her as much has he did Blair that one time, Sarah/Georgina (lol), and Vanessa. I totally think she's the first one he ever really fell hard for and grew a lot during the season cos of his relationship with her, but I also think that he never took down all his walls for her, and I'm not sure if he's going to trust her enough in the end to do so (not that I blame her, sometimes things are what they are) though I'd be interested in seeing that developed, if that goes there. Usually, that isn't a big thing, cos I often ship person-wise, but Serena isn't my favorite at all. Well-developed, but just not my type of character, especially when compared to Blair, who pushes all my SAD PRETTY TINY DAMAGED HUG HER PLEASE buttons.
