I've been buying a bunch of new(ish) music from Sweden and Germany for a while now.

... I guess that's not that interesting, but there you go.

Well, that's odd. I replied to this comment and I remember replying to this comment and yet there is my comment being non-existent.

Anyway, rock music, basically?

I really like Royal Republic (basic fun rock -- lead singer in my icon), Johnossi (slightly folk-tinged rock), and Sator (punk? Maybe?) of Sweden, who all sing in English. And the Donots, Madsen, Farin Urlaub, (all three kind of punk-influenced) Wir Sind Helden (kind of more pop I guess?), and Jennifer Rostock (I don't even know...) of Germany.

(I can't really get Jennifer Rostock around here without paying way too much so I just watch them on Youtube. Same with Sator.)

The bands that sing in German (all of them but the Donots) actually have great lyrics but I have to look them up on a site I just found where people post their translations of song lyrics. I just found a Wir Sind Helden song that sounds cheerful and pop-like but the meaning is basically "Screw you and my life too." Also Farin Urlaub is a funny, funny man.

Done with SATs! And almost passed out from dehydration and heat stroke because I didn't bring a water bottle. But I'm fine, 'm drinking raspberry lemonade and watching the new episode of My Little Pony.

I did drink a lot more. Now I am re-hydrated and I feel a lot better. Also a lot less stressed because ahhhhhhhh. Anxiety is awful shit.

I just... let myself get too hopeful when a guy I still love showed interest in me. I wasted many months because he seemed to care (and told me and showed me he cared) and I was patient, and in the end he decided he wanted to go on dates with other people! SO. Yeah. I'm emotionally unstable and very insecure, but I'm still feeling very "fuck him" atm!

I have been surrounding myself with happy things, and it seems to help, though<33
