You know. How of on the show. Where Katara is easily one of the most powerful characters in the show by the end of the first season? How she trains the fucking Avatar in waterbending? How she had so much power since day one but just didn't know how to use it?
Apparently in the movie she's bundling and nowhere near as good as Aang.
Suki was, of course, cut out. And Yue's actual agency was apparently lost.

I hope there isn't a second movie because it's season two where we are handed four new female characters, who, strength wise are this: Azula, the villain who brings the most tension. Her elite team of skilled warriors: Mai, an expert with knives and Ty Lee, who can block chi. And Toph. The best earth bender in the world. That's not even getting into them, characterization wise. I can already tell from hearing the trailers between watching Avatar, that they don't care about that.
