Oh, I can get that. I came back to the manga reluctantly when it made me start OTP'ing Komamura/Tousen. ;;

Oh. Dear Lord. It was actually pretty amazing.

Komamura was fighting Tousen, and Tousen basically(as a Hollowfied Shinigami... I know how stupid this is) tells him that he joined Soul Society to get revenge on his dead friend. And Komamura tells him that he was glad to hear his true feelings, and that his heart already had forgiven him. Tousen goes ballistic from that statement, and turns into this creepy-as-all-fuck bug...thing, and calls Komamura hideous. Komamura goes into this big internal speech about how he wanted to be Tousen's true friend, because he wanted Tousen to learn how to love the world again. Tousen is defeated by Hisagi, and Komamura tells him how he doesn't care if Tousen resents him, he just doesn't want him to die, because then he'd feel as empty as Tousen did after his friend died. And Tousen starts tearing up and thanks him.

I required icons after this, which I had to make.

There are so many characters, I do not blame you one bit.

Komamura is the giant furry fox shinigami, and Tousen is the blind disciple of Aizen with the dreadlocks.
