As requested for the exchange. If this means nothing to you, don't worry about it. :)

For Fics I Like: Characters to be in character (even if this means less romance); most of the details from the books to still be relevant; totally ignoring the Epilogue (it never happened, it was all a dream); humor, adventure, mystery, etc.: If you excel at a particular genre I am usually happy to go along with it (just keep in mind my dislikes); I enjoy work that uses a lot of literary devices (like metaphors and symbols, etc.) even if it occasionally becomes abstract

I dislike: Angst. Threesomes (or any multiple of). Angst. Situations that seem totally out of character for our heroes to even be involved in. Angst. Not really into smut - I'm okay with suggestion and the steps leading up to, but once things start getting hot and heavy I tend to check out. Angst. If you make me cry, I will cry and not be happy. This is not how I like to spend my evenings after work (where, while not unhappy, it is certainly stressful). I will cry from laughing too hard, I will cry from some f-ing beautiful literature, but I refuse to cry for angst. If tensions run high I can handle it for a while (I understand the needs of the story), but resolve it happily.

For Fic in general: I like a time period that's either during school or shortly after (with the war resolved or not really too big of a priority at the moment). I don't really mind about side pairings: mix and match people as you please (make it hilarious or to your personal preferences, that's fine). Romance is nice and, depending on the prompt, a plus but unnecessary, I'm totally fine with the end result being just friends or partners in crime, etc.

For art: I prefer things more artsy and abstract and not really realistic. I do not like photo manips or gritty, real-life art. Use your imagination, try out cool styles, etc, etc. Brilliant color use (or an intriguing contrast) is always a plus. If you're looking for more guided inspiration, you can take a crack at my fic prompts or ask the mods to hassle me for better direction. (I'm not really an artist, so I kind of left it more open to your judgement)  ;)
