Sisterhood of The Traveling Pants!

The Sisterhood of The Traveling Pants, Twilight, Harry Potter.

You've heard of them, you've read them, you've seen the movie, etc.

No matter what, whether you're at a movie store, book store, or just talking to your friends about the most popular books, somehow these three book series end up in your sight.

And I've never read any of them. Until now.

It all started two years ago when I was 12 in 6th grade (or three years ago, something like that!)

I see this book Paige is reading about magical pants. Magic fantasy was one of my favorite genres back then. So automatically I want to read it.

Well, mommy says we can buy them but I have to wait until I'm 13 to read them.

So then, I just look at the little pictures from the movie they put in there. I would ALWAYS look at those pictures and wonder what was so wrong with me reading the book.

And, secretly, I read the "rules of the Pants" when mommy and daddy weren't paying attention.

When I read that "You must never let a boy take off the Pants" I was confused. I didn't understand why boys would want to take off the Pants. But now, I understand.

I also read the start of the prologue. "Once upon a time, there were some Pants. Just a simple pair of jeans. But these pants, the Traveling Pants, went onto do great things." Didn't seem like 13+ material to me.

But then, in the late days of 14-year old a_wa's summer 09, she finally started reading the first book. And so far, it's great. :) Not exactly how I pictured it when I was 12 :P but it's great. :D

And, I so ship "Carma"/Tibby now. :)

sixth grade, twin cranes, tibby/carmen, two years, sisterhood of the traveling pants, tarmen
