Chapter 1: the thing
"What is it?" Sam asked.
"I don't know," said Carly.
"Do you think this is what was causing all that stuff to happen?" Freddy said.
"I guess it's a possibility," said Carly. "But still, all of that stuff caused by that?"
"Seems nearly impossible," said Freddy. "It's always a possibility though."
"Nah," said Sam. She looked at the others. "Uh, hello, you're supposed to say nah as well, it's part of the thing."
"Sorry Sam but in this place, there doesn't seem like nah will be the right answer," said Carly.
"Okay, but you're ruining the thing. And how could a small thing like that cause all this stuff to happen?"
"You never can tell," said Freddy. "You never can tell."
Sam shrugged wearing a bored-at-Freddy face on her face.
She rolled her eyes.
Why did Freddy always have to be so... scientific about everything? It bored her to .
Who did it not bore to ? Thought Sam. Carly?
"Nah."
"What was that?" Freddy asked.
An amazing power of light had shined behind him.
Chapter 2: An unnatural glow
The light was unnatural, very unnatural.
It wasn't really like a light either; it was more of a glow.
Freddy turned around slowly.
There was the thing that was making the glow; it was the small thing that Carly had found.
"What's up with that glow?" Carly asked, obviously directing her voice at Freddy.
"I don't know," he said. "It's so unnatural."
"You don't know?" Carly asked.
"No, I don't know everything you know."
"That's right," said Sam. "You don't know anything."
"Sam," cried Carly. "This isn't the time."
"Then when is the time?"
"Sam!" Carly shrieked.
The little glowing thing had made her float up in the air.
"Carly!" Freddy gasped.
He started walking towards her.
"Woah!" he had slipped on a letter.
He got up and grabbed the letter.
"Dear visitors," he read. "You've now discovered the glass pendant. This pendant is very little and connected to a valuable necklace. This necklace was made in 2,000 B.C. it has a strong power to blow wind, make thing disappear and push people back down, and several others. It is indeed what has been causing all of these strange things to happen. It's also the thing that is going to help you figure out something that you may want to know about one of your teachers. I however shall remain a mystery. At least for this whole day."
"Does it say how to get me down from here?" Carly asked, still floating above the ground.
"It says to just tell the glass pendant to let you down," said Freddy.
"Okay, glass pendant, let me down slowly and safely onto the ground."
The pendant did just that.
Carly held the pendant out and looked up in front of her.
There were things that she saw now that she hadn't seen before around the room.
Had the pendant revealed something to them?
Chapter 3: Papers
There were some papers she saw that hadn't been there before.
Carly started to walk slowly over to them.
"Carly no," Freddy whispered. "It could be a trap."
"We'll just have to see then won't we?" Carly whispered, walking towards the papers.
They were in a light yellow folder.
The folder had something written on it.
"Confidential?" Carly whispered.
She carefully walked towards the folder.
Then she opened it.
"These papers look like some sort of criminal record," she said.
"For who?" Sam asked.
"It says for-" Carly paused and gasped.
"What? Who?" Sam asked.
"Ms. Briggs."
Freddy gasped.
"I knew it," said Sam.
"Uh, guys," said Freddy, changing the subject.
"Yeah?" Carly said.
"Remember how that note said no technology for 48 hours?"
"Yeah, any dork would remember that," said Sam. "Oh, wait, you are one."
"Well, wouldn't that include air conditioning?"
Chapter 4: Air Conditioning
"Now that you mention that," Carly said. "It does feel pretty hot in here."
"Yeah and hard to breathe," said Sam.
"What are we going to do?" Freddy said. "This place is windowless."
"Okay glass pendant," said Carly. "Do your thing."
The glass pendant's unnatural glow then activated.
It made a window appear.
Freddy went over and opened the window.
Carly breathed a sigh of relief.
"Finally," said Sam. "We can breathe."
"Now there's just one thing we have to figure out," said Carly.
"What?" Freddy and Sam asked.
"How we're going to do iCarly."
Chapter 5: Doing iCarly
"How are we going to do iCarly?" Freddy asked.
"Don't you know?" Sam said. "You're the smarty geek."
"Sam, we don't have time for this," Carly said. "Our fans are expecting to see the latest video in-" she looked at her watch. "Ten minutes."
"Oh no," they all said.
"Maybe the glass pendant can help us," said Freddy.
"Are you crazy?" Sam said. "Oh wait, you are."
"Sam," said Carly.
"Alright, alright," said Sam. "But you're ruining the fun."
"Anyway," said Carly. "How is the glass pendant going to help us do iCarly?"
"Hmm..." said Freddy. "Maybe it could create a computer and camera that are run by air, that way it's not really technology."
"Good point," said Carly. "Okay glass pendant, help us do iCarly."
The pendant glowed. It created the computer and camera like Freddy had said.
"Let's test them out," said Freddy.
The pendant made the wind blow, which turned on the computer.
It went automatically to iCarly.com.
"It works!" said Freddy.
The wind blew again, which turned the camera on.
"Hello," Carly said to the camera.
Freddy looked at the webpage, there was Carly saying hello.
"It works too!" Freddy said.
The glass pendant then erased Carly's hello from the page, she hadn't had to say anything.
"Just in time too!" said Carly looking at her watch.
"In five, four, three, two," said Freddy, still at the computer.
"I'm Carly."
"I'm Sam."
Chapter 6: returning to Carly's apartment
48 hours later, the glass pendant automatically transported them back to Carly's apartment.
They were still asleep though.
When they woke up, Spencer, Freddy's mom, and Sam's mom were there staring down at them, arms crossed.
"Where have you three been these past 48 hours?" they asked.
Carly, Sam, and Freddy looked at each other.
They smiled.
There was a long moment of silence then.
"Well?" Spencer, Freddy's mom, and Sam's mom said.
Carly, Sam, and Freddy looked at each other again.
"It's a long story," Carly said.
The others nodded.
Ms. Briggs is now in jail for the criminal record they had found and Carly received a letter saying she could keep the glass pendant and use it whenever she needed it. The note had said that was the reason they hadn't given it to Sam.
Looks like she, Sam, and Freddy will have a lot of explaining to do, but they'll always remember those 2 days.
