Wow...
What a weekend!
Tracie was on a retreat with the "women" of the church, so I had the pleasure of watching our kids.
Yes, I said pleasure and I meant it!
We had a good weekend.
I picked them up from school Friday where we immediately went and traded in a few old DVD's for some new ones.
I got "Catch Me If You Can" - Tom Hanks
I got "Lord of the Rings" 2 for the kids! We now have all three!
I also picked up "Ray"- with Jamie Fox
and
"The Barber Shop"
I came out MUCH BETTER than I went in.
We then came home and watch "Series of Unfortunate Events" followed by "Catch Me if You Can" then "Barber Shop"
We STILL landed in bed just after midnight.
I woke up bright and early the next morning- Thanks G-
Sorry I missed your call today- we went to see the new STAR WARS!
anyway...
back to Saturday.
Brandon watched cartoons and THEN watch his new Lord of the Rings.
I painted the kitchen.
Shayla slept in until about 9am- then she finished the movie with her brother.
We went to practice at church until 7:15pm- THEN we came home, cleaned house, and watched "The Family Man"- hiting the sack at 12:30am.
We got up REALLY EARLY for church today- then we were ALL pleasantly suprised to see "MOM" walk into the service- just before the preacher started the sermon.
OVER ALL- a GREAT WEEKEND!
I'm SO GLAD- Tracie came home though.
We have ALL MISSED HER!

Sorry, but hey- my Wife came home today and she's been gone since FRIDAY morning!
