THE SYSTEM
Each category will be awarded from zero to five points. The categories of lesser importance will be weighted one time, the more important categories will be weighted two or three times (meaning they will be worth ten or fifteen points). The points will then be added up and a final score awarded.

Yes, not it "what happened" but "how it happened"

They could've developed a few of the minor characters better.

You feel well connected to the three main characters
Did the characters react realistically?
The actors were very well trained for their parts and their characters showed that throughout the movie. They became firefighters. Not actors "playing" Firefighters.

A "perfect" film would score 120 points on this scale. It's not likely that one ever would, and if one did, it would be hailed as the greatest in history (in my humble opinion). From now on, when I see a film, I will use this scale to rank it amongst all my favorite films.
