Appearance Meme, part 2 of 5!
Clothing/Appearance:
Rose has some really adorable outfits over the course of her run in the show. But I'm too lazy to talk in detail about all of her fashion sense, so I googled "Rose Tyler fashion" and found this:
She seems to prefer the colors red and pink, and usually wears comfortable clothes - often a hoodie, flared trousers and trainers - but she also likes to dress up, given the opportunity.
Which, yeah. Works well enough for me!
Other things to note about her appearance, let's see... Her hair is quite obviously bleached. Her roots are generally showing a good inch or so of her natural, darker, hair colour. Also, Rose isn't a twig. In Series 2, her body gets hijacked by a woman named Cassandra, and as she describes it, being in Rose's body is "like living inside a bouncy castle" (Camp's former Rose's screenname was actually bouncy_castle, which has always made me smile). Her mother's pretty voluptuous as well, so it's clear where Rose gets it. So yeah, girl got sexy curves, and it's clear that she enjoys her comfort foods.
Habits/Mannerisms/Body Language:
Rose is a huge fan of physical contact. If she's friendly with someone, especially the guys she enjoys friendly fliration with (Rabi, Jack, and Ginji in particular. Ryoutarou not so much because of his often PHYSICALLY PAINFUL bad luck, and Ban not so much because he'd uhuhu at her and grope her or something), she likes being physically near them. She'll hook arms with them, lean on them, peck them on the cheek, hug them... She's also got the Tyler Woman habit of slapping people who cross her. Trufax, in episode two of series one, upon properly meeting the Doctor for the first time, Rose's mum slaps him straight across the face. Rose is less casually violent than her mother, but she's not afraid to backhand someone if they need it (D< DOMYOJI D<), or give someone a friendly punch or shove on the shoulder.
Mostly her body language is that of someone really comfortable in her own skin.
Current Residence(s):
Boys' Cabin Nine. She doesn't really have her own bed, iirc, but she sleeps in Jack's, regardless of whether or not he's there.
Typical Daily Routine:
She usually wakes up around late morning, has a shower, heads to the mess hall for a late breakfast... Hangs around camp chatting with people and hanging out with her friends, plays with her kittens... Still has lunch, despite the fact that she eats breakfast so late. MORE HANGING AROUND, then dinner... At least once a week, usually in the early evening and generally before sundown, she'll wander out towards the barrier, just in case.
Really, most of her day isn't really held to any routine, she just hangs around and enjoys people's company.
Favorite Haunts:
Boys' 9, the Den-O, the mess hall... She probably swings by whatever cabin Ban and Ginji live in, and the library/wherever he's living now if she's looking for Rabi. Places you'll NEVER find her are loitering too close to the lake shore.
Does she make her own bed?:
Not that often. When she was living at home, her mum probably made it for her most of the time, and when she was living in the TARDIS in canon, she definitely didn't. In camp, when she was living in the TARDIS, she probably pulled the blankets up if she was hanging around her room, or planning to have visitors. Now that she lives in a cabin, she probably pulls the blankets up when she gets up in the morning, but that's pretty much it.
