Tuesday 9/9 - John had to fast for 14 hours to do a glucose tolerance test (give blood samples, eat, come back 2 hours later, give more). Guess they had a bit of a mix up with the orders for the tests. Only had him down for 2 other tests. Went to IHOP for breakfast, called while we were waiting on the food and got everything straightened out. Killed the 2 hours at the Joliet Harley dealer. OMG I want to do the garage the way they have their bathroom! Black ceramic floor tile and chrome diamond plate on the walls. Lots of cool stuff, most pretty expensive. Got a shotglass for my niece's collection for Xmas.
He didn't leave for work until 1:30. Scott called just before that and said the bike he dropped off on Sunday was done and would we go down there with him to pick it up. Sure.
Spent the afternoon rearranging John's office electric (since I gave him 3 months and it still wasn't done). Dust is a computer's worst enemy and that room is loaded with it because I refuse to touch it.
Pulled some more of the giant weeds and started moving the small rocks in the front yard. Have to transplant a few things and move all the rocks and cottage stones before the landscaper comes and the Julios trash everything before I can stop them.
As soon as John got home at 6:25, Mongo showed up to exchange some stock. We were on the bike to Minooka at 6:30, all jumped in Scott's car, grabbed McDonald's and ate on the way to Pontiac, picked up his bike, followed him back to his place in Minooka then drove our bike home.
Saturday is going to be super busy. Have 3 (maybe 4) events and we'd like to hit them all. Picnic at Turtlehead Lake, Las Ryds Hearse Club in Willow Springs, Car Show in Naperville. Sunday late morning is supposed to be the photo shoot.
