Whirling dervish life
Friday 9/5 - Picked up a bag of assorted coffee, tea and cups from an Asian lady in Shorewood. Had some cool stuff in it. Actually have some nice plain white china cups and saucers now. The temporary Halloween stores are open now so I stopped at one to find a white wig for my ghost/banshee outfit. Wanted a plain long white. Found a styles white gray one instead. Probably a lot like what my natural color would be now.
Been fighting a headache all day. Did meds at 4:00. Went for our nightly ride with Scott. He wanted to eat at White Fence Farm. Love the place. Antiques everywhere. Made me crazy. They have scads of clocks (grandfather, wall pendulum, anniversary) ALL WRONG and not running. ACK! Spent most of dinner laughing, as usual. Went to Ashbary in Willow Springs. They built a huge deck so now there's more outside tables since you can't smoke inside. There's also a sign that says "No smoking within 15' feet of door - Non-smokers, no complaining within 30' of smokers". We're going to be back there twice this month. On the 13th the Las Ryds Hearse Club is meeting there and on the 26th I have the Halloween Fest at the school with Svengoolie. There were flyers for both events. Met a cool chick named Kate Davis. She's got a band, is into zombies and said there's another event called Horror Hound Weekend. Lots of our type of crowd, I'm sure.
By the time we got home and I finished picking out my clothes for Pagan Pride and got to bed it was 2 am.
