Nice to be ahead
Had planned on going to mom's today. Hubby didn't get up until almost 2:00 (I think he was trying to hibernate). We finally got out of here at 5:00 after I finished listing the rest of my keys. The one brass fobbed one from Venice is up over $100 (now let's see if they actually pay). Was hoping to get $300 for all of them (I really hate giving them up regardless). Perhaps if they draw enough I can get some of the things on my eBay wish list like the Radko Ghost of Christmas Future ornament or the 150mm crystal ball. I'm sure I can still do gazing, just wish I could get down to Kentucky and pick it out myself. They seem to have frequencies you have to be compatible with.
Left so late we didn't have time for much but dinner at Harrah's and play for a bit. Had to wait for a table so we played a little beforehand. John lost his $20, I lost $15 so mom gave me $5 and him $10. I won $65 with it and John won $85 (on a 2 cent machine!). Nice to actually walk out of there $95 ahead.
Told mom if she wants I'll go with her to mass on Ash Wednesday. She wants to go at 7:30 am. Sheesh! Realized that I'd have to take the Camaro (which we haven't run since last summer). That's fine as long as it isn't slippery.
My nose started dripping before we left home and hasn't stopped since. No idea why. Funny thing is that mom said hers started doing it too around the same time when she was outside. Scary.
We forgot to bring the cake I made and mom's Valentine's Day card. Oh well.
