Hikaru Shidou | Previous RP | 2/? negakat May 25 2009, 17:03:50 UTC
Canon History: Hikaru Shidou is a 14 year old girl from Tokyo, raised in a kendo dojo with her father and three older brothers. She goes to an all girls' jr. high school, where she is the epitome of the "tomboy". She has a dog named Hikari who has been with her ever since she was little.

While on a field trip with her class to Tokyo Tower, she met two strangers, Umi Ryuzaki and Fuu Houoji, and all three girls were transported to an alternate, magic world called Cephiro. They met a master mage named Guru Clef who gave them armor that evolved with their hearts and strength, and told them they were to become Magic Knights and save the world of Cephiro. They obtained a mineral called escudo and took it to a smith named Presea, who created swords that would evolve with their armor. The girls then went to revive the three rune gods -- or giant robots they would pilot in the final battle to save the Princess Emeraude, the Pillar of that world.

However, while they killed the priest Zagato, whom they thought had imprisoned Emeraude, they found that Emeraude and Zagato had been in a forbidden love, and that Emeraude had summoned the girls to that world to kill her. No one in Cephiro may harm the Pillar, and the Pillar is unable to take her own life, so girls from another world must be summoned to do it. They joined forces, much to their own discontent, and Hikaru's sword was used to kill Princess Emeraude. Not even seconds later, they found themselves back in Tokyo Tower, mere seconds from when they left.*

During the second half of the series, Hikaru, Umi, and Fuu were grieving their actions in Cephiro, wanting to go back and change things. During a discussion at Tokyo Tower, a white light took them and they once again found themselves in Cephiro. Except now, that alternate world was falling apart and crumbling without a Pillar to uphold it. Clef and Presea admitted they didn't know who summoned them this time, but guessed that a Pillar must be the cause and vowed to find who brought them. They gave the girls their armor and swords back, making them promise to protect themselves first and Cephiro second.**

Three countries: Autozam, Chizeta, and Fahren heard about the Pillar's disappearance and all journeyed down their Roads to acquire the position of Pillar in Cephiro for their own goals. Autozam wanted to study the system for their polluted country, Chizeta wanted a place to expand their borders, and Fahren wanted a world of dreams. The Knights fought them several times, and Hikaru saw the Autozam commander, Eagle Vision while meeting Cephiro's magical swordsman, Lantis in the same first battle.

During one of the Knights' last battles with Autozam, Hikaru ventured into their Road despite Umi having not been able to and then collapsed.*** Umi and Fuu brought her back to Cephiro's castle until she awoke. Shortly thereafter, all three invading countries began battling each other within Cephiro's borders, only for the Road to the Pillar to open. Mokona appeared and revealed himself to be the creator of Earth and the Cephiro worlds and acknowledged that Hikaru and Eagle both had the strongest hearts in Cephiro. They were taken to the testing ground where they fought. Hikaru was named the new Pillar, and Mokona stated that those who do not possess the Ability would disappear. Refusing to accept that, Hikaru began fighting her way down the Road, insistant to bring Eagle back with her. Mokona then told Lantis and the Knights that if Hikaru persisted, both herself and Eagle would disappear.**** Umi and Fuu pleaded with Mokona to let them save their friend, so he allowed them down the road to pull the disappearing Hikaru the rest of the way, saving Eagle.

Mokona told Hikaru that because she was the new Pillar, she could make a new promise to Cephiro. With Umi and Fuu helping her, Hikaru changed the Pillar system completely: that world would now be upheld by everyone living there instead of just one person, thus abolishing the Pillar system completely.*****
