Character: Ana a.k.a. Gun (Female)
Fandom: Final Fantasy VII :Before Crisis
Personality: (Be detailed here. Anyone can provide links and all that. Explain to us what you see in the character and why they did what things. What are their quirks, modes of thinking, and reasons why they have done what they did in canon)
Ana has quite strong frame of mind and unwavering conviction. To everyone and especially her underling(s), she is quite strict and almost obsessive-compulsive in nature. Ana is quite dedicated to her work and her skills. She is not proud, just precise in using her skills and knowledge to the best of her abilities.
She has very high standards when it comes to friends outside of work. Ana also is very forceful when it comes to honest in personal dealings. The rift with Elena was something had trouble coming to terms with. Family was tremendously different from work
Her temper flares when someone does not do as they should - by the book, logically, within reason. Taking undue risks will land you on her list for days. Ana's trust is not a freebie. It has to be earned.
With her strengths, Ana has her weaknesses. She has the insecurity of losing her sight therefore decimating her treasured skills in marksmanship. Ana also wonders what she would do if she were to fall for someone - love or duty. Most times she just focuses on the task at hand.
History (can be a link to website with a description of the history. Also, detail to use at what point of canon history you are taking them from):
Born in Midgar to a middle-class working family, Ana was the older of two daughters. Early in life, she showed to be a strong and no-nonsense individual. Ana always was ready to help in any necessary task around the house. Ana entered the Shin-Ra Military School where her father was an instructor. There were gossip and rumors swirling around that nepotism let to her acceptance into the school, but it remains unconfirmed. She excelled in her studies under her father's stern tutelage. Ana became a top marksman and passed her mentor in skill. Graduating with honors and at the top of her year, she was immediately recruited into the Turks.
Since her recruitment, Ana has been doing as she did, working as a Turk for the Shin-Ra Electric Power Corporation. She is satisfied with the work she is doing. In her opinion, it is where she is best suited or where she is "supposed to be". She continues to trust Tseng and his decision years ago of recruiting her to the force.
She has been continuing her duties as a Turk - recruiting and what missions are given to her. Ana does not question, she is gracious for the position she holds and the confidence the company has in her.

Sample log entry (250 words minimum):
Ana went along as everyone else. She sifted through the paperwork on her desk, making sure everything was straight and orderly. I was not trained for this sort of drudgery. I cannot stand this sedentary duty. But who was she to rebel against the work that her employer had her doing? If it had to be done, then it simply must.
In order to squelch the urge to go out and hit the pavement, Ana scheduled her outings to seek new informants and possibly new recruits. Mondays - just after work began, Tuesdays - early afternoons, Wednesdays - just before lunch, Thursdays - mid-morning, Fridays - two hours before the work shift ended.
Her handgun rested in the bottom right hand drawer of her desk. Her hand itched to practice with it. Her marksmanship was indeed remarkable, but it did not age like fine wine. It needed to be exercised, just like cleaning the gun - if it wasn't used or cleaned every other week (at the least); it became cranky and a wee bit unreliable.
She looked over at her cell phone and noticed the time - "9:35am, Thursday". Grinning softly, Ana grabbed the device and slipped into the holster on her left hip. Then she slung the desk drawer open and plucked the gun out. Standing and kicking the drawer shut, she slipped the gun into the holster she had concealed underneath her long and comfortable cut jacket.
Looking over the desks, Ana didn't see the nearly identical quaff of blond hair that belonged to her younger sister Elena. She didn't care that her sister was hostile towards her; she put respect behind it and gave her room. I will not abandon you, sister. But I will not encroach on your space. Remember that I am still your sister. No matter what.
The blond-haired and blue-green eyed Turk slipped out from behind her desk and made her way through the office and to the door leading to the stairs. Why waste time standing in a steel box while it drops you several floors when descending flights of stairs can clear the mind? Ana shoved the door open and disappeared in the artificially lit chamber.
Thump, thump, thump - her leather boots sounded on the concrete steps as Ana made her way down. At each landing, she looked up and then down. It was just a healthy dose of paranoia. The young woman continued down to the ground floor and exited through the very secure foyer, nodding to a few of the guards.
Ana exited Shin-Ra Electric Power Company and made her way down the sidewalks towards the bustling commercial sector a few away from sector D which housed headquarters. Stepping into a driving way of an alley, the Turk automatically slowed and looked out of the corner of her eye into the darkness. She grew up in the slums. Why would she fear it? Ana didn't. She just remembered that if one did not remember where they came from, it would come back to haunt them.
Looking away, she continued on her way - another day, another pinpoint in her schedule.
Sample journal entry (Six sentence minimum):
This place is not nearly the one I intended to find myself. I remember green, so bright and beautiful that it defied comprehension. But for the moment, I will see if I can the necessities - shelter, food, and weaponry. I do not like being without my gun. It’s a part of me.

Elena, I’m sorry….I didn’t mean to. I know I’ve disappointed you.

**Note**: I’m willing to change and mold the history of this character to Elena-mun’s established canon.

Elena's player is currently on hiatus until Monday, but she did give her approval for this character as well. Elena is not in the city at present.
