I want to get a divorce.
Then I want there to be two choices - a christian marriage for those who are so inclined - and a civil unions for the fucking rest of us - same *legal* rights, just leaves the fucking hyper-conservative crowd to keep "marriage" sacred, while the rest of us keep love honor and respect sacred.
I'm tired of my relationship with my partner being labeled by the fucking churches as somehow better or more "pure" than anyone else's relationship because I happen to have a vagina and he happens to have a penis.
