My Plans For The Summer:
~wonder around in the streets of the most influencial city in the western world
~watch the changing of the guards in Buckingham Palace
~say "Bonjour Paris! Nous nous réunissons encore!"
~breathe the air at the top of the Tower of London
~breathe the air at the top of the Eiffel Tower
~hear my footsteps echoe in the Chartres cathedral
~visit the graves of Descartes, Rousseau and St. Anselm
~order "un café" at Sartre's favorite coffee shop
~worship in the Sac La Coeur
~worship in the Christ Church Cathedral
~live in a little place you may have heard of, called Christ Church
~eat traditional english breakfasts every day for 5 weeks (and break every day for tea time, of course!)
~eat my meals in the Great Hall (just like Harry Potter)
~take a nap under the "jabberwocky tree"
~take a pilgramige to Canterbury
~lie down in Jane Austen's bed
~sit at CS Lewis' desk
~watch a play at Shakespeare's Globe Theatre
~stand in the room where Winston Churchill was born
~listen to the Scotish Millitary bagpipes in Edinburg
~oh and did I mention famous art?
~pick up a good deal of jet-lag along the way
