(no subject)
So this is Livejournal. I guess it's been pretty popular for a while. I've heard a lot of people talk about it but I've never really had the free time to try it until now.
I'm Zara Naismith. And I dance. I dance and go to school (I used to go to a GREAT school- the Canadian School for the Performing Arts. now I will be starting at some place called degrassi) and I hang out with my friends. Until recently anyway.
what happens when a great dancer with a ton of really fantastically intellectual and cultural friends moves to a place that doesn't have a dooney and burke supplier? Um, she gets a stupid livejournal. I hate it here, but I figure it will be a good excuse to get a lot more work done. With the business I want to go into, you constantly have to be working. You have to be really driven. You have to want it more than everybody else.
But I mean, if there is one person around here that isnt COMPLETELY white trash, I'd love to hang out with them. I doubt there will be. But thats cool. I dont really have time for friends. I don't usually have time for a journal either. Don't expect much updating.
Usually on a typical summer day I would have dance lessons, which I already had this morning, and then a session ad CSPA. But I dont have to do that. So I think I might go for a good run and explore the city.. I love to run. It feels great to feel unstoppable. Like nobody can catch you. The endorphins kick ass too. as does the possibility of shaving off a few extra pounds.
Then I might study some. Because Julliard wants well rounded dancers. And I am oh so determined to be well rounded. The talent is nothing without the degree. and the degree is impossible without the grades.
This entry was mildly pointless with the exception of making an introduction, really putting myself out there for anyone who might be interested. Whether or not I will be interested as well is very debatable, maybe even doubtful, but hey, stranger things have happened.
