I don't think they fully ruined the pic. It was not planned that way however, since they came up real blurry I think it gives it a vibe similiar to the scene in West Side Story when Tony and Maria first met. . . . .

. . . ok I better go eat some red meat now since I have just demonstrated way too much knowledge about west side story for a guy to have.
