..Fa brutto Tempo

So, June first (Incidentally Sporkie's birthday! Happy Birthday the one and only Spork Mistress! We need to go to Shiros!) I'm sitting at my computer minding my own business, some foul weather at play outside my window. I pay it no heed on account that this must be the umpteenth storm to hit my area. I suppose I've been desensitized to this.

At any rate. It was like someone flipped a switch to "ON". A torrential downpour of hail berrated the windows, saturating the area. It was insane. Not a few minutes later, MD and FF - whom were across the hallway, playing Snood and being crucified for their playing ability, respectively - holler, in stereo: "The birds!" Indeed my feathered cousins were traveling en masse AWAY from something. Very frightening proposition.

Then, to follow that first outburst: "Oh, look at the sky." (Again in stereo. What's wrong with those two? XD) They said it in this totally reverent, awed submission - quiet and kow-towed, quite unlike my very boisterous, frank parents. Not to mention 'fuck' hadn't found itself into any of their sentences.

Needless to say, I traipsed into their room and looked up at the sky.

Oh. My. Gods. The sky was like whipped, swirling, blindingly-white ice cream. And, in sharp contrast, a huge, gaping, dark, menacing hole. The eye of the storm. It was a huge, evil swirling vortex O_O

@.@

And MD was like, "There must be a tornado somewhere! Wonder where.."

And almost as if on cue, the IM wav goes off in my room. I return. And it is Sporkie... and I quote: "Haha. OMG. TORNADO XDDD"

And to this, I crane my head around, saying to both parents: "Found the tornado!"

Them: "WHERE?!"

Me: ::Crack:: "Sporkie's front lawn."

And.. then both, I swear, materialized into my room, and ambushed both me and the computer chair. I almost went crashing into the monitor, both of them on either side, scrambling to get a look at the photo Sporkie took.

THANK THE LADY BRIGHT IT DIDN'T TOUCH DOWN!

Ahhh. hahaaa.. fun times xD
