Team X - Midflight Boredom

*If there was one thing wrong with being a genius, it was that Hope got bored very quickly. For the first part of the flight, her book managed to keep her entertained when she wasn’t chatting with Atticus but she was a speed reader and quickly finished Modern Genetic Analysis: Integrating Genes and Genomes. It left her with a small space and little to do.

She went to her old standard cures for boredom, doing Punnett squares in her head, solving complicated mathematical equations and then she started to observe the people around her. It was the first time she’d gotten a look at the whole team. There were few obvious mutations, most everyone looked absolutely normal. She began to wonder if this plane full of mutants looked normal, what did it mean for the world’s population?

As her mind got lost in thought, attempting to calculate statistics and make estimations, she began to stare at people without realizing it.*
