Team X - Late Night Contemplations

*While it was late and not the wisest time for Hope to be out on her own, she couldn’t seem to fall asleep. Standing at the edge of camp she looked out into the darkness and chewed on her thumb nail. It was not the safest thing for her to be doing, but she was lost within in her own mind, completely unaware of trifle things like safety.

Why wouldn’t Stryker want the best medical care for his team? If what St. John had said was true, that he wouldn’t even care of one of them was bleeding from the ears, what did that mean for this team? For her part in it? Why would he want medical files if it wasn’t for better care for the team?

She sighed and pushed an imaginary strand of hair behind her ear, she was not going to get to sleep anytime soon if she kept thinking like this.*
