40 hours and 40 drinks later.....
I suppose it's time for a real update, seeing as how it's been like 2 months or so. We'll go down the list then....
Work: Going alright, I enjoy my co-workers, but business is pretty slow. No snowbirds for another month or so. On a plus side....I think, I'm starting to get tanned due to working on the deck in my cabana boy outfit all the time.
School: All my express courses (9 hours worth) started up this week, so I have a feeling that I'll be swept away by papers and reading here in about a week. All my teachers seem pretty chill though, which is a bonus.
Homelife: Currently looking for a place to live, but hopefully getting an apartment with Kevin (my other roommate) this week. Helene and Jason decided to move to West Palm last week, giving Kevin and I about 2 weeks to find time to apartment hunt and scrounge up the monies for such an adventure, which couldn't have happened at a worse time. I'm really iffy about being stuck in a 12 month lease at the place we're looking at but I don't think we have the time/resources to find much else, so...any port in a storm as they say.
Social Life: Slowly getting better, found some really chill kids that live local, and a nice coffee house/bar that I kick it at about twice a week now. God bless Wi-fi, seems like everywhere has it. Still forced to meet people online though, mainly, due to lack of options/balls to talk to folks.
Miscellaneous: Had myself a 40 hour bender from 11pm Tuesday til 3am Thursday, after waking up at 11am Tuesday. Pretty entertaining.....had a half bottle of baileys with coffee, 7 beers, 3 glasses of red wine and a bottle of McCormicks puke juice. Watched about 5 hours of porn with mixed company, had a very interesting time.
