Now that the wedding is over
I'm just waiting for my boss to come back from leave to tender my resignation.
He is, believe it or not, away for 4 weeks. And I have another 2 weeks to go. I can't just give notice now, as he isn't around. It's just not good karma.
Even though I went to the temple and got a unfavourable review, I think I should quit and join my friend's company. It is a good time to leave, (really!) and I'm looking forward to the challenges.
The only time I'm worried about it that I'll have to report to my friend, and I think issues will come up. But it is a temporary job for 6 months, and we'll see what happens.
