That went by in a flash! Overall I had a pretty good time and I think the new hotel works out. The only major thing I would like changed is the use of larger rooms for the party floor. It was ridiculously crowded up there

Hmm, yes. I am still pretty darn careful about not taking my head off except in private, and usually only then while changing. If anything, I want to get *more* strict on this rather than less, and want (to build) a new suit which will make it easier (my current ones are not the easiest to wear, I'd guess, as both are quite old and not as professionally built as I imagine most of the ones running around at cons are these days. On the other hand, I don't know for sure as I've never worn any fursuit other than my two!)

I think the proliferation of fursuits has a lot to do with them not being as special or remarkable any more. Plus the way many people don't go out of their way to distinguish between themselves and their character - including both the casual de-heading and the lack of any significant amount of performance. I think I find it quite difficult to "just be me" in suit - I've ended up training myself to act cute'n'cuddly, or something! ;>

And I just discovered I've never added you to my friends list before; not sure how that happened! Hi! :)
