Good times for the first day of FC in the new hotel
I declare Thursday a sucess, although parking is still a bitch as expected and I am still not registered. It was very strange to see furries and fursuiters in the lobby of the Fairmont. I've been here for other events so it all seemed a very strange fit. Still, the place has plenty of room to hang out without being too spread out. The lobby is very awesome with lots of area to soacialize and we even had a live band playing.
As for me, I just bouced around a few rooms, attended a small room party, got drunk on some good tequilla, and wandered around the lobby meeting all the friends I get to see only at cons.
As I was goin to be Pepe was nice enough to get some pajamas on me and make sure I was comfy to sleep because I was way too tired to do anything but pass out on the bed on my own. All in all good times despite some rather bad news on a personal level earlier in the day.
