Epiphanies
Does this sound familiar? :-) You're struggling with something, and you know you have all the pieces, but you just can't quite make them fit. And then you get frustrated, and do something else, and all of a sudden, it clicks. You see the answer, it makes perfect sense, and you just know you're right. You've had your epiphany.
For me, it's math. Sometimes I'll work on a single question for half an hour, or more, and come back to it different times, try different things, and still have no clue. Then I'll go for a walk, or read some House/Wilson smut, or take a shower, or watch TV, or whatever. And the answer pops into my head, and I know I've got it. It can be frustrating, because sometimes you need the answer right away (like on a test, lol), but mostly I just think it's cool that our brains work that way.
