I have decided to stop procrastinating on my original novel and signed up for NaNoWriMo... would something like that be of help?

NaNo is pretty much like Big Bang - write a story of a certain number of words by the deadline. The problem is I hit the minimum word count, realised I'd hit the minimum and then ... the words dried up. Loadssss of drama is waiting to happen, I'm just procrastinating over doing it XD

then I've got no idea... except maybe give yourself a break or re-read it, edit what you've done and then carry on writing

I've re-read it five times. I'm just lacking self-motivation and will probably spend the rest of my life in fear of writers' block. I've apparently lost my Writer's Block Hammer of Perseverance. I switch on my computer with all the intention of definitely getting this last bit done ... then wind up watching videos of cats playing peek-a-boo until it's time for bed with my document just open in the background.

Gah. I wish I could write 25k in a day like I used to XD

okay... then I'm at a loss - maybe a plot outline - just one liners / scene ideas that need fleshing out?

Oooooh that might work! I have got a few things like that written down ... I'll do all the action between the lines and stuff and see what comes out.
