Lately-er I've been...

Our Town's over. Playing a father made me very happy, but only because the would-be daughter was all grown up and respectable. It was, overall, enjoyable and rewarding enough. My chums and I at the apartment all seem to be on perkier terms, and I can't help but feel better when the cool wind of fall is at my back.

Lots of new music this week.... tons of it. Of course it's all legit. Apparently I've SOMEHOW missed the golden sheen from bands Hellogoodbye and Melody Club.  I suddenly have the urge to learn guitar, or play some mad keyboarding skills. Bah, why not both: Get a mac with Garage Band! But seriously folks... both bands are quite enjoyable.

Baby Boi is over there playing "Portals", a game in which the primary tool creates a portal. Do it again, and it connects and entrance/exit portal, thereby fucking not only the opposing baddies and  any competition the game has, but it also fucks my brain. Well, that's what it feels like anyway. I love it so. You can manipulate gravity by turning the portal sideways, and the exit on the ceiling! In a tiny, tiny room, you fall for 10 feet (5 times by portals) and then change your trajectory and sail hundreds of feet over a wall. There's nothing we can't do.

Life's nice. It's getting eventful, without a lot of pain or ignorance. Usually one has one or the other, or one influences the balance of the other. However, it's lately been quiet on both sides. I've been quite aware-feeling, and it's painless what I'm taking in. Refreshing, renewing breaths each day.
Oh well, time to wake up at 7. It's not even that bad!
