A waving ceiling overhead, I welcome lungs welcome the fight for air.
But I gasp it one time, and I know after the moment's relief I will want to dive again.
'Not much is about the destination, but the journey.' It's a nice, natural mechanism in us that keeps us going somewhere. The feet that cannot stop moving, the code in us that pushes us to feel alive.
Maybe it's a constant in us that neither emotion or circumstance will ever change.
I only hope it stays with me forever, but I know that once it leaves me, I'll be content without it.
It's a win/win. A blessing of the experience. Had I a scientific mind ( and i'm working on it)
I'd like to compress my lives overall into an anthology of pete's soul, spanning from bodies 1-4823, it'd be the most intricate LiveJournal EVER. I could see myself ending up being a terrible person, or a great one, or a simple blend of both to which I currently have now.
Perhaps it's just because in my belief, the personality I have is partially innate, and the other is circumstantial from early environmental conditions. Say my childhood events, evolved any other way. Would I be any near the kind of person I'd be now? I guess I'd hate to be a judge. You'd be judging someone who's more than likely had it rough., but would be a normal person outside of mistreatment.
I've been cast in a play this week. However, I may have to shed many hours, and possibly my job to keep up with it through the blessing of school. I don't know how to say why, but I've truly taken a liking to the song "Daughter", by Loudon Wainwright III (Rufus's dad!). And now, I'll be playing a father whose daughter is getting married. Damn that thought is one I'd never think of in a long time.. But something makes me happy about it.
I want to be running while I crave something different.
Just like taking the long way to get home, just to get out of traffic.
It takes the same amount of time, but you feel more progressive.
