I wonder if the neckerchief here was a deliberate nod to Merlin since this was post S1.

Yes,I would have to think it was. Especially after they threw in the scene where he does magic and they berated him for it! ROFL!

"Look, you're not Merlin now, all right?"

Is it just me, or does he look really young here?

He does but this was post S1 and I noticed that as he lost weight over that first season, he almost seemed to age backwards. To me, he looked younger in S2 than he did in S1.

I watch that sketch whenever I need a pick-me-up =)) It's absolutely adorable (and, of course, so is Colin!) =)) The nose absolutely kills me every time. ♥
