Q: Anonymous asked: [snip] On a more positive note, who have been the nicest people you've met? It's so lovely when 'famous' people make you feel as if they actually want to speak to you, and aren't doing so because they feel they have to!
A: Other actors that have been really nice - can I say Bradley James? Even though he’s never been on stage? I was lucky enough to spend quite a bit of time with Bradley James once when I volunteered as an extra on his girlfriend’s movie. As a thanks, she organised a kind of meet and greet with Bradley and two other actors from Merlin, Eoin Macken and Tom Hopper. They were all very lovely, but Bradley is just an absolutely delightful man. He firstly went around to everyone that was there (probably about 8 of us extras) and gave us a good 10 mins each for an uninterrupted chat. He focused on everyone individually, rather than being a generalist. We had a real good laugh. Bradley can tell when people are nervous, so he asks questions, makes eye contact and looks interested and I find that a very kind thing to do. We chatted about everything from my job to where I live to the fact that he bought a military coat once, but didn’t wear it much because it made him self-conscious!! It was a real nice experience. Plus he bought everyone diet coke and rice krispies squares. It was kind of a unique situation, but still, he didn’t have to be that nice and that friendly.[snip]
Q: Anonymous asked: Thanks for sharing your story about Bradley James. He sounds amazingly lovely and such a sweetie! You were so lucky to meet him. XD
A: Hi you’re very welcome. He was extremely lovely and I do feel very lucky to have had that experience!! Today I had a rice krispie square in Bradley’s honour as I saw them when I was getting my lunch. Hah.
