Top 10 Alien Races

1. Asgards (Stargate)

The Asgard were a benevolent and highly advanced race from the galaxy of Ida that has visited Earth on many occasions. They are a super advanced race, awesome and pretty fantastic, if you ask me.

2. Time Lords (Dr. Who)

Time Lords are so called because they are able to travel and manipulate time through technology to a far greater degree than any other civilization.

3. Delvians (Farscape)

A sentient and mobile plant species with a humanoid form. As a plant species, Delvians have powerful experiences when exposed to strong solar energy. These experiences are intensely sexual, and she refers to them as "photogasms".

4. Cylons (Humanoid) (BSG)

The humanoid cylons have a lot more depth to them than the centurions (obv!). Even though they don’t differ much from the human race, they deserve my appreciation.

5. Vulcans (Star Trek)

They are stronger, faster, and live longer. They live by reason and logic with no interference from emotion and telepathy is a fancy trick too.

6. Nox (Stargate)

They are one of the most visually stunning races in the entire Stargate franchise. They are a race of fairy-like people. They can live to hundreds of years old and have a great desire for wisdom and understanding. They are extreme pacifists and never employ violence for any reason, even to defend themselves.

7. Wraith (Stargate Atlantis)

Wraith are badass! They are a telepathic race who feed on the "life-force" of humans, and are the dominant power in the Pegasus galaxy.

8. Hynerian (Farscape)

Hynerians are an amphibious race of short, frog-like aliens with green skin. When nervous (or angry), they produce helium flatulence. They possess three stomachs, and spend much of their time eating. If they consume tannot root, their urine and other bodily fluids become explosive.

9. Dalek (Dr. Who)

Integrated within a tank-like or robot-like mechanical casing. The resulting creatures are a powerful race bent on universal conquest and domination, utterly without pity, compassion or remorse.

10. Weevils (Torchwood)

Everyone is mean to the Weevils and I sort of pity them. They haven’t received the character development of many other species, but they are still pretty great. They usually live off sewage, but occasionally one will go rogue, come to the surface and attack humans using their sharp fangs.
