There are only a few days in time in which a number will be repeated in the actual date. So today is supposed to be special, and it is special.
Today in China a world joined together in the beautiful spectaular opening ceremonies of the Olympics.
This image was probably by far one of my favorites.
I am not really one for sports much...but this is not just sports. It's so much more. The Olympics are unifiying for our world - despite the fact that it is a competition. It filled me with hope to watch the Opening Ceremony. The artistic portion of the program was breathtaking - just so amazingly beautiful. I am glad a day as special as 8/8/08 was chosen to be the day to mark this special event in our world.
On another note: I had an interview today at Woodfill Elementary! It's for a half day Kindergarten teaching position. I really hope I get the job! Maybe - just maybe, an interview today on this special day 8/8/08 will be lucky for me! I hope so...
